• Create awareness among all the Union Representatives of the business environment within which the Company operates.

• Make them understand their role and responsibility towards the Organisation as well as towards trade union, so that they can function as effective leaders.

• Ensure that they become more aware about the working of the Organisation and its financial climate in the present competitive environment and appreciate the economic compulsions.

• Bring awareness amongst union representatives about the importance of human relations and discipline and to enable them to solve the problems of their colleagues without straining relationship with management; and

• Help the participants to have a look at themselves with a view to improve their perception and performance
